Empress Of India' is a variety of nasturtium with a drooping habit on a compact plant that forms a small 30 cm bush in all directions. This dwarf, non-running variety is ideal for container cultivation, or for forming a low hedge... Its round leaves are particularly bluish and the flowers an appetizing vermilion-red. Stems, leaves and flowers are used like watercress.

Goes well in sun or partial shade, in soil that drains well, not too rich. Sow on site, 1 cm deep, around mid-May. Germination: 7-14 days at 16°C-18°C. Final spacing between plants at least 30 cm.
