Like our 'South American Banana', the 'Poivron Jaune' tomato is reminiscent of a long pepper, and is quite firm, containing few seeds... and little flesh! Because, like the bell pepper it resembles in shape, it conceals a cavity that's just waiting to be stuffed. It's also well-suited to grilling, and yields a magnificent fruity passata of vibrant orange-yellow. Fruits are regular, weighing between 80 and 100g. Good resistance to alternaria. Determined but voluminous habit. Maturity: mid-season, first fruits ripe around 75 days after transplanting.
