tomate-groseille Petit Moineau
$ 4,50 – $ 15,00
Solanum pimpinellifolium, Solanaceae
A little smaller than the cherry tomato, the roseate tomato is about the size of a large blueberry... Introduced to Quebec under the name 'Petit Moineau' by Louise Chèvrefils, the seeds of this wild line of small red fruits were brought back from Mexico by her uncle in the '50s. Starting out in Châteauguay, they've been spreading ever since... Fruits ripen around 75 days after transplanting and produce well until frost. We let it bush and crawl, or tie it to long stakes arranged in a teepee. Up to 1.5 m high.
