Pisum sativum var. macrocarpon, Fabaceae
A flat snow pea with white flowers and very large, sweet pods (13 cm long), which remain tender as the peas begin to form. It can be grown unsupported in a sheltered spot, as it's not very tall (75 cm), but we prefer to insert branches into the soil every 50 cm, which helps keep the abundant crop in the air. Resistant to mildew. Early, about 65 days to maturity.
