Organic Black Early tomato

$ 4,50

Lycopersicon esculentum (Solanum lycopersicum), Solanaceae

The 'Black Early' tomato ripens earlier than the 'Black from Crimea' or 'Black from Tula'. It's a good big black tomato of the beefsteakIt is quite early for our northern gardens. It is very tasty, perfect for salads, sandwiches or pies... it makes an excellent dark red sauce. It weighs around 200 g and is a little irregular, with protruding shoulders. In windy conditions like ours, we appreciate its rather compact, indeterminate growth habit, which means it can be grown closer to the ground. First fruits ripe 60 days after transplanting.
