Beautiful and rare Hungarian "Butternut" variety with dark orange, firm, sweet, aromatic, nutty flesh. Exquisite raw. Or fried, in soups, etc. Keeps for up to 8 months, but at its best in January-February, when the green skin has turned a beautiful tanned orange shade covered with a light bloom. Runner. ~100 days (green stage), ~60 additional days (orange stage)
