Seeds germinate in around ten days at between 18°C and 21°C, simply pressed to the surface of the potting soil and left uncovered, as they need to see light to germinate. Transplant the seedlings into individual pots when a pair of true leaves have developed, and harden them off before the final transplant to the garden, where you'll leave 30 to 45 cm between plants.
