Cichorium endivia var. crispum, Asteraceae
Curly endive 'Très Fine Maraîchère' is a variety with sharply-cut, curly leaves arranged in rosettes with cream-colored centers. It's not only visually interesting, but also adds freshness and a delicate bitterness to our salads. It needs cool weather to perform well, and will tolerate light frost: at its best, it is harvested from September to November. About 60 days to maturity from direct sowing.
