The obier-leaved physocarp is a native shrub with a gracefully arching silhouette, making an excellent hedge and ideal hiding place for birds. It adapts to all kinds of conditions, but prefers a good dose of humidity. White flowers in June, followed by pretty reddish seed capsules in autumn. 3 m in all directions. Hardy up to zone 3, even 2.

Press onto the surface of the potting soil (light is needed for germination), after soaking the seeds in water for 24 hours, then place in a cold place (-4°C to +4°C) for 60 days. Germination will begin unevenly when warm weather returns. Keep moist.
