Green Zebra organic tomato
$ 4,50
Solanum lycopersicum, Solanaceae
The 'Green Zebra' tomato and its magnificent golden zebra-green fruits: a creation dating back to the 1980s by Tom Wagner, a prominent figure in the world of free seeds on the American West Coast. The emerald-green flesh of this variety is sweet and tart, ideal for sorbet and splendid in salads, especially mixed with orange and purple tomatoes. We grow this variety for its exceptional quality, despite its susceptibility to blossom end rot. It's not early enough to be considered a main crop in our region... it's a specialty on the side, a bonus! Plant of indeterminate growth giving first ripe fruit 75 days after transplanting.
