Lacinato organic kale
$ 4,50
Brassica oleracea acephala, Brassicaceae
Tuscan kale, cavolo nero, dinosaur kale, Tuscan kale
The classic Italian kale 'Lacinato' is one of the most tender, perfect for light cooking. It's also very elegant; its elongated, intensely blistered, almost blackish-blue-green leaves seem to sprout from the central stem like the palms of a palm tree. It's a very heat- and cold-tolerant cabbage, at its best after the first autumn frosts.
