Korean' pepper is perfect for making gochugaru used in the kimchi. Spicy, but not too spicy... one of its major assets is its red pigment, which has great tinting power and will give its characteristic red color to your kimchi. About 85 days to maturity after transplanting. Thanks to our friends at Adaptive Seeds in Oregon for making this traditional variety available to Westerners.

Sow 8 weeks before transplanting outdoors. Chilli seeds need plenty of heat to germinate, from 27°C to 32°C. Transplant when the first leaves appear and keep at 20°C until transplanting to the garden.
