organic Küttigen white carrot
$ 4,50 – $ 50,00
Daucus carota, Apiaceae
The White Küttigen carrot is an old Swiss variety from the Canton of Aargau, vigorous and hardy. Its flesh is fine, tasty and very aromatic. This is our favorite variety of cooking carrot. The semi-long roots are pointed and homogeneous. ~70 days.
Tasting notes: gingerbread, tropical fruit, vanilla, young spruce shoots (two or three individuals reminded us of grass clippings and the public swimming pool, but don't worry, we didn't keep them for breeding!)
