Medicinal kits

Like all our kits, the Médicinales kit features a selection of seeds beautifully packaged in our colorful origami-folded paper. These seeds are relatively easy to approach, so no stress! No complex techniques are required to enjoy the 6 chosen varieties. These plants, with their many properties, are a great base for your medicinal garden and medicine chest. As we're not qualified herbalists ourselves, we don't provide any dosages or preparation methods for the products you'll be able to make. We therefore strongly advise you to seek advice (from more than one source) before embarking on your own preparation adventure!  We'll be happy to answer any questions you may have about growing the following plants.

Here are the medicinal plants in the kit

– Holy basilOcimum sanctum, Lamiaceae. Other name: tulsi, meaning incomparable. 375 seeds. Sow late April.

– Stinging nettleUrtica dioica, Urticaceae. Other name: nettle. 100 to 150 seeds. Perennial, to be sown and pricked out indoors before transplanting to the garden.

– Echinacea purple: Echinacea purpurea, Asteraceae. 50 à 55. Hardy perennial. Direct sowing or indoors.

– Lemon balm officinal : Melissa officinalis, Asteraceae. Other name: Lemon balm. Approx. 150 seeds. Perennial. Sow in trays/pots indoors or outdoors.

– Marshmallow Althaea officinalis, Malvaceae. Other name: Mallow. Approx. 100 seeds. Perennial. Direct sowing. 

– St. John's wort Hypericum perforatum, Hypericaceae. Other name: St. John's wort. Approx. 500 seeds. Hardy perennial. Sow indoors.
