Miso is nutritious, delicious ("umami" flavor) and fascinating. Come and learn how to make your own miso at home. In this workshop, we'll look at the chemical principles of miso-making, so you can make your own. The workshop will cover some practical aspects of its preparation. You'll leave with 750g of rice koji (prepared in advance) with which you can experiment.

Charles-Antoine optimizes season after season a food production system within a herbal farm producing medicinal plants (Les Simples). He makes his miso with a view to self-sufficiency. He will develop methods to suit his domestic installations. And he'll work with participants to find out how to make miso in their own particular context.

The workshop will take place at LA SOCIÉTÉ DES PLANTES, 207, rang de l'Embarras, Kamouraska.

In the event of cancellation of the workshop on the part of the organizers, a full refund will be made. If you have to cancel in advance, a fee of 20$/person will be deducted from the refund, to cover costs and losses incurred. In the event of cancellation less than 72 hours before the workshop, this fee will be 50$.
