Spinach 'Merlo Nero' is a robust cultivar with oval, waffled, dark-green leaves that are tender and flavorful.
Hold back this spring, as this spinach will go to seed very quickly after spring sowing. Don't plant it before August for an autumn harvest. Highly resistant to cold, it can be sown until September and overwintered under snow cover for harvest the following spring. Italian variety. 45 days.
