The climbing snap pea 'Sugar Magnolia' is a highly ornamental variety of sweet pea, the fruit of 15 years of breeding by Dr. Alan Kapuler at Peace Seeds in Oregon. Its purple pods are tender and sweet, not too big at their best. Over 2 m high.

Sow in succession directly in the field, early in spring. Install a support before sowing, 2-3 cm deep, leaving a distance of 4 cm between plants, then 45-50 cm between rows. Till the plants about 3 weeks after emergence.
