Trionfo Violetto' is a string bean with long, fine, excellent, deep purple pods that do not become fibrous. Its seeds are beige. With its dark green leaves veined with violet, lilac flowers and violet stem resembling a licorice lace, it exceeds the 2.40 m height of the bamboos it is used to support, and steals the show from many an ornamental plant. A traditional Italian variety to be placed in a warm spot. 75 days.
