Creeping Patience is a perennial food and medicinal plant commonly found in damp waste ground. It can be recognized by its pretty lanceolate leaves with wavy margins and greenish flower spikes rising to 1 m, sometimes up to 1 m 50. The root is mainly used in herbalism, but the leaves are also used, and are even an antidote to nettle-leaf burns. As a vegetable, they can be cooked. Hardy perennial.
