Like fireworks for ants, this small, decorative and edible garlic puts on quite a show in late summer. The hues of its petals are anything but flamboyant: from white to mauve, passing through a soothing matte pink... a real charm that doesn't need to be watered often, in the garden or in a container. 40 cm high. Hardy perennial in zone 4.

Sow at 20°C, seeds covered (need darkness to germinate). Obtain a higher germination rate by leaving seedlings for 2-3 weeks at 20°C, then in then refrigerate them (-4°C to +4°C) for 4 weeks, then return them to ambient heat for germination.
