Chill seeds in the fridge 2 days before sowing. Then press the seeds onto the surface of the potting soil, and store at between 15°C and 21°C until germination, which takes between 5 and 15 days. Water from below to prevent fungal damage. Once your seedlings have hardened off, transplant them at 24-30 cm intervals, pinching back the main stem to encourage bushy growth. You can cut the plant back to 15 cm after the first crop of flower stems to stimulate further flowering.
