Cosmos sulphureus, Asteraceae
Cosmos suflureux Diablo Bio is the ideal candidate to liven up that semi-wild area on the edge of the garden, where you don't go with the watering can and wheelbarrow of compost... Easy and self-sufficient, it's a generous exhibitionist with bright scarlet and orange semi-double flowers that will attract butterflies and hummingbirds. This large annual plant comes to us from Mexico, where it can be found along roadsides, flowering from August until frost. The flowers are edible and also have dyeing value. 1 m high, 50-60 cm wide.
bag = 80-85 seeds

cosmos sulfur Diablo Bio
Sow after any danger of frost when the soil reaches a minimum of 16°C, ideally between 20°C and 25°C, and aim for a plant spacing of 25-30 cm. You can also start seedlings indoors 4-5 weeks before transplanting. Do not bury seeds, as they need to detect light to germinate properly.
Grows in full sun in any soil, preferably even slightly poor. Does not like wind very much...
