Solanum lycopersicum, Solanaceae
The 'Stupice' tomato is a variety from a small locality of the same name on the outskirts of Prague in the Czech Republic. It is particularly well adapted to cool climates, where it produces some of the earliest red tomatoes available. Round and juicy, with a nice medium sandwich size, its flavor is generous, between sweet and tangy. Vigorous, productive plants with bluish-green potato foliage of indeterminate growth. Very early: first fruits ripe from 55 days!
