Knapweed 'Emperor William' is the last of the old cultivars of the splendid navy-blue single-petaled knapweed, close to the wild species. Knapweed flowers are edible and medicinal. They are used mainly for eye inflammation and irritation, but also to relieve bronchial congestion and coughs. An easy-to-grow annual that tolerates drought once established. 60-90cm.
