organic Ceylon tomato
$ 4,50 – $ 15,50
Solanum lycopersicum, Solanaceae
The 'Ceylon' tomato is a small, flattened, ribbed jewel tomato like a miniature pumpkin. Just 5-8cm wide. A few orange streaks on a bright red background. Excellent concentrated flavor, both sweet and tangy: umami! Perfect for our pizza sauces, among other things... Vigorous indeterminate growth. Very disease-resistant too. Early: first fruits ripe only 63 days after transplanting.
