Like all our kits, the Edible Flowers kit features a selection of seeds beautifully wrapped in our colorful origami-folded paper. These seeds are easy to approach, since no complex techniques are required to enjoy the 6 varieties chosen. As well as being beautiful, these edible flowers with their varied flavours will bring color and originality to all your dishes, from salads to desserts, not forgetting herbal teas! 

Each Edible Flowers kit contains :

Wild pansyViola tricolor, Violaceae. Other name: Johnny-Jump-Up. Self-sowing perennial. Approx. 175 seeds. Sow indoors or outdoors.

Centaury Emperor William Centaurea cyanus, Asteraceae. Other names: blueberry, sunburst. Annual, self-sowing. Approx. 120 seeds. Direct sowing in spring.  

German chamomileMatricaria recutita, Asteraceae. Other names: matricaria. Annual, self-sowing. Approx. 500 seeds. Direct sowing in August-September, or in trays in spring.

Mauritanian mallow Zebrina Malva sylvestris var. mauritiana (syn. mauritanica), Malvaceae. Other names: grande mauve, mauve sylvestre, mauve des bois. Annual, self-sowing. Approx. 60 seeds.

Carnation Crackerjack Tagetes erecta, Asteraceae. Other names: Indian rose, African tagetes, aztec marigold. Annual. 90-100 seeds. Indoor sowing.

Ziar poppy Papaver somniferum inapertum, Papaveraceae. Other name: baking poppy. Annual (easy to harvest and sow). Approx. 400 seeds. Direct sowing in May.
