Cracoviensis asparagus lettuce blossoms very quickly, and we encourage it to do so, as its flower stalk is its most prized part: long and soft, yet firm, and taking on a lovely translucent hue when cooked. It can be steamed before peeling, then prepared like asparagus or grilled, brushed with aromatic oil, or braised for a long time. It is also exquisite in tempura.
