organic tripartite panicaut
$ 4,50 – $ 18,50
Eryngium tripartitum, Apiaceae
tripartite sea holly
Tripartite panicum is the perfect perennial for the garden (because it blooms for a very long time, from midsummer to autumn), for the home (because it's an excellent cut flower, fresh or dried), and for the environment in general (because it's one of the most visited plants by various pollinators, including butterflies)... Above all, it doesn't need watering or fertilizing, just a place in the sun in soil that's not too heavy or wet. From its rosettes of glossy green, spoon-shaped leaves rise long, sturdy, branching "tripartite" flowering stems of a slightly metallic, sky-blue hue, a blue that runs downwards from the flowers along the stem... a simple, enduring beauty.
