organic Sibley winter squash

$ 4,75

Cucurbita maxima, Cucurbitaceae

The 'Sibley' winter squash is also known as 'Pike's Peak'. This club-shaped Hubbard pumpkin was introduced commercially in the USA in 1887. Its seeds were found thanks to an Iowa gardener who had been growing it for 50 years... Since then, it has charmed connoisseurs with its exquisite flavor and texture, improving with storage. Sweet orange flesh, rich, fairly thick and dry. We also like its gray-blue, moon-like skin. Runner. Approximately 115 days to maturity from sowing.
