Tangerine Gem is the perfect companion plant. It formsoussins of delicately serrated leaves, topped with a profusion of small orange flowers that are can't resist caressing because of their exquisite lemony fragrance.
But its leaves and flowers are not only pleasant company, they're also edible. The flowers appear in profusion all summer long, right up until the frosts, and are used to perfume and decorate salads as well as desserts, confectionery and pastries.
Grow in full sun. It measures 30 to 40 cm in height and spread, and can be used to form clumps or as an isolated plant in a container. Tolerates drought well. Allow 60-70 days from sowing to flowering.

Prick seeds into moist potting soil, indoors, about 6 weeks before last frost (here, mid-April), 5-6 mm deep. Germination 2-15 days at around 21°C.
Transplant into individual containers 4 weeks after sowing if sowing was carried out in trays. Otherwise, raise and acclimatize seedlings in multi-cells until final transplanting.
Plant in full sun after any danger of frost, 30 to 40 cm apart in all directions.
