Start seedlings indoors 8 to 10 weeks before transplanting. Sow the seeds by pressing them gently onto the surface of the potting soil and keep moist until germination, which can take from 14 to 28 days. Ideal germination temperature: between 12°C and 18°C. Transplant to the garden, leaving 20 cm in all directions between plants.
