The 'Dufresne' tomato was popularized by Yves Gagnon des Semences du Portage, who had obtained it from Brother Savignac, named in honor of Raymond Dufresne who had supplied him with the original seeds. This is a beautiful, excellent pink-red tomato from Quebec, with a fine flavor. It yields well when pruned on 2 main heads. Vigorous indeterminate habit. Mid-season: Ripe fruit from 76 days after transplanting.

Sow 5 to 6 weeks before the last frost. Keep potting soil between 24°C and 32°C. Transplant when the first true leaves appear, then store between 16°C and 20°C until transplanting to the garden, around 4 weeks after transplanting.
