Winter purslane is a crisp, juicy and refreshing leafy vegetable, rich in vitamins A and C. Both stems and leaves are tender and succulent. Delicious in salads or cooked like spinach. We try to provide moist conditions away from the hot summer sun. It can be cut 2-3 times, and if sown light enough, the plant will heel a lot at the base. It tolerates light frost well and can regrow in spring following late summer sowing. It's good even in full bloom!
